"Chateau Laroche was built as an expression and reminder of the simple strength and rugged grandeur of the mighty men who lived when Knighthood was in flower. It was
their knightly zeal for honor, valor and manly purity that lifted mankind out of the moral midnight of the dark ages, and started it towards a gray dawn of human hope."
– from the foreword, "Chateau Laroche" booklet
We decided to take the tour at Chateau Laroche today (Sept 4th, 2005) after seeing the castle on TV.
When we arrived at the Castle it looked to be small but once we got closer we all wondered how one man Harry Andrews
built Chateau Laroche all by himself which meant carrying all the river rock from a near by river.
We took a few pictures of the Castle so you can see how amazing this castle is. We hope you enjoy.
If you would like to visit Chateau Laroche you can do so by going to the address below.
